SEJUICE YOUR SKIN: REVITALISE YOUR SKIN FROM WITHIN

I’ve previously discussed my past skin care routine http://wp.me/p98kWD-o which turned out to be a nightmare! I overpowered my skin with strong spot-reducing products and ended up burning my skin and causing irritation! So I stopped the overload of products, and resorted to hydration techniques… which are basically drinks which can hydrate your pores and reduce swelling of spots! So, after months of trial and error, here is a list of what I found helpful to clear my skin…


1. 8 CUPS A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY

Time and time again we’ve been told to drink 2 litres of water a day, though in reality, who actually does? I was the worst for drinking enough water throughout the day, however when I found out the actual benefits, I really do try! So what are these magical benefits?

Your body is made up of 70% water, and fresh drinking water helps your cells function properly! It keeps them clean by reducing waste and fighting those nasty-ass toxins which cause spot breakouts!

Drinking plenty of fresh water definitely helped me clear my skin and reduce swelling from spots, and it’s basically free!!!!


2. POMEGRANATE IS A SECRET POTION FOR HEALTHY SKIN

Pomegranate is the saviour to nearly all health problems, from improving your heart health, to reducing the risk of cancer! And a special benefit for me, was the cure for my facial spots!

It contains Punic acid (an omega 3 fatty acid) which hydrates your skin cells and seals in luxurious moisture! It’s gentle for all skin types, whether you struggle with dry, oily or sensitive skin… so works wonders if you have sensitive spot-prone skin like me!

Pomegranate can be used in a variety of forms to help clear your skin, such as face-masks, smoothies or pure juice.


3. CUCUMBER INFUSED WATER

Cucumbers are a dream hydration food for your skin… after all they are 90% water-based. Also, they contain magical minerals like magnesium and potassium, which will reduce the inflammation of your spots! This can easily be made by adding sliced cucumber to ice cold water!


4. GREEN JUICE WITH KALE

The golden ingredient in here is the Kale because it has the super-power (though vitamin A and omega-3 fatty acids) to reduce inflammation of spots and promotes the repair of unwell skin cells!

Made with apples, cucumber, kale, ginger and celery, this green juice will revitalise, refresh and repair your spot-prone skin!

  1. Excellent ideas! I forgot that pomegranate season is soon upon us. Can’t wait to eat it. Love the idea of the cucumber water too. Wish that I had known it earlier.
